The multiphase renovation of the historic 1913 Bradley County Courthouse earned the state’s 2016 Excellence in Preservation Award. Because of disrepair and water damage, the south exterior of the courthouse faced the danger of potential collapse before renovation and restoration. WD&D Architects designed window replacement and exterior repairs, foundation stabilization and underpinning plans and repairs/restoration to the courthouse’s facade.
