The city of Fayetteville used a prototype developed by WD&D Architects for updating and modernizing its fire stations across the city. The prototype can be utilized no matter the setting, whether residential or commercial, and has a combination of sloped and flat-roof areas, all-brick exterior and precast detailing. The stations are designed for bays of up to six vehicles, living areas and sleeping rooms for up to 18 firefighters.
