Fellowship Bible Church – Midtown Campus Renovation

American Society of Interior Design Excellence in Design Award - Silver

The renovation of Fellowship Bible Church, located in Midtown-Little Rock area, included work in the sanctuary, lobby, offices and children’s wing comprising of 30,366 SF remodel. The original layout of the church enclosed the front entrance making other spaces tight and limited space to gather.

To honor some of the existing building features, WDD incorporated mid-century finishes and fixtures mixed with contemporary elements to revive the space. Carpet, luxury vinyl tiles, accent wall tiles, and wallcoverings helped elevate the space. The use of a sky-light light fixture help open up the space with existing low ceilings.

WDD was tasked with the design of a spacious and welcoming lobby area with a café for all members to gather in and to have a lounge space where people felt comfortable to gather and hangout after service or in between activities. The Worship Center needed to be re-invigorated and lighting conditions improved. They also requested incorporation of mid-century modern elements as a nod to the building’s architectural style.
