A comprehensive master plan was created before the 2011 Maumelle High School was built, including not only the main school building, but also plans for academic expansions, playfields, traffic, parking, utilities and emergency support. In 2024, the expansion was completed. The accomplishment is a testament to the value of prioritizing and following a comprehensive and well-researched master planning phase.
The expanded campus includes a collegiate track along with a full soccer infield; a 40,000sf indoor training facility with lockers and team meeting spaces; new softball and baseball fields complete with dugouts, bleachers and shade canopies. The venues follow the campus masterplan and connect to the original 2011 football stadium and fieldhouse, bringing an over decade-long vision to fruition.
