An energy-efficient low maintenance exterior with expanses of glass and light wells to supply natural light in a calming and nurturing environment are key features of the School. The 155,000-square-foot Mills High School is a key addition to the Pulaski County Special School District building program for the south side of the City of Little Rock. The building is LEED certified and designed to emphasize academic rigor and the performing arts. A rotunda connects academic, career, athletic and performing arts centers for a more personalized instructional experience. The campus was designed to maintain protected wetlands existing on site.
