WDD Architects partnered with the City of Little Rock and community stakeholders to deliver Little Rock downtown master planning and urban design services for the Main Street corridor. The study examined strategic opportunities to encourage new investment while preserving the historic character and architectural fabric that define Main Street’s identity.
WDD’s planning work considered land use, parking, housing and the redevelopment of historic properties as part of a broader strategy for downtown growth. The study helped identify opportunities for new development while recognizing the importance of existing buildings and the character of the surrounding urban environment. This work also contributed to WDD’s later involvement in planning and designing Phase One of the Little Rock Technology Park.
