Jacksonville Police Station, Dispatch, Training Center, & Safe Room

This 32,000-square-foot building is headquarters for the Jacksonville Police Department, the city’s 911 communications center and as a training site for police and firefighters. Community members may access the 3,200-square-foot safe room during severe weather. The two-story entrance brings in natural light. A central corridor links the buildings multiple functions. Interior materials include stained concrete floors, pendant lights, acoustical ceilings, and bullet resistant glass.
