This 100,000 square foot hospital-owned medical office building completed in 2002. As an integral part of the Wadley Regional Medical Center campus, this project included a major redirection of campus access from the surrounding community and reorientation of internal campus traffic.
WD&D designed the shell building and all of the suites within the building. These suites range from a 16,000 square foot urology suite to a 1,500 square foot cardiology suite.
WD&D was asked by Urology Associates to assist them with their tenant finish-out. WD&D was responsible for the design of a waiting room, clinic space and an outpatient surgery suite. WD&D provided medical space planning and interior design to achieve the owner’s aesthetic and functional requests.
With the patients this office serves, the design concept needed to depict a warm, calming, and sophisticated atmosphere. This was achieved through the use of lighting, glass, color, deep wood tones and textures through the flooring and furnishings.
