Wilkinson Residence

Project Overview

Location: Greenwood, Arkansas
Project Type: Residential Architecture & Interior Design
Size: 5,600 SF

Wilkinson Residence exterior featuring barn-inspired architecture and a standing-seam metal roof.

WDD Architects designed the 5,600 SF Wilkinson Residence in Greenwood, Arkansas, as an extension of an existing 7,500 SF storage barn. The custom home takes its cues from the surrounding rural landscape and agricultural buildings, giving the residence a character that fits naturally with its setting. The project reflects WDD’s approach to residential architecture, with the design shaped by both the property and its existing structures.

Design Features

The residence pairs its barn-inspired exterior with warm, open interiors. Exposed wood beams and timber framing define the main living spaces, while vaulted ceilings and large windows add height and natural light. A stone fireplace, wood floors and custom built-ins carry the natural material palette throughout the home.
