5 Main Place Historic Exchange Bank Renovation

A historic building was reshaped into a contemporary, energy-efficient working space for Arkansas state government while maintaining the historically important exterior features. Exterior masonry and stonework were rehabilitated. New windows that resembled the original pattern and additional insulation provided energy efficient savings. More than 45,750 square feet of office space was renovated, and all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were replaced to meet current energy codes and provide support for offices, IT server rooms and meeting spaces.
