Arkansas Community Correction is consolidating their Central Arkansas operations into the former Timx Building at 1302 Pike Avenue in North Little Rock. The project will include selective demolition and extensive interior renovations. The interior work will involve the construction of approximately 134,000 sq. ft. of office space in the existing warehouse structure and the associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems upgrades. The exterior renovations will consist of site work and the construction of two new entrances to the Mid Century Modern building. The new headquarters will occupy approximately 134,000 SF of the existing 214,000 SF building. The renovated facility will house ACC’s Central Office functions along with the Parole Board, Parole and Probation Services and Training Operations. The additional space in the building will be available for future growth and or additional consolidation efforts by ACC and possibly used by other state agencies. The site has ample parking for the ACC Staff and convenient access from Pike Avenue for individuals needing to visit the headquarters. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
