With their normal hall undergoing renovations, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performed its concerts at the Maumelle High School Performing Arts Center, a venue described by the Symphony as “inviting for audience members and performers alike.” The state-of-the-art building features a 50-foot by 90-foot stage and 1,200 seating capacity arranged with a crossover aisle allowing for greater accessibility and better camera positioning. The center also features an acoustical shell and black box theater. The modern audio and visual equipment built into the design make the center a key enhancement to the school’s music, band, choir, drama, stagecraft and filmmaking programs.
